Bobby Broom
was born on January 18, 1961 in New York. Bobby was introduced to jazz
at an early stage of life. He took up playing guitar shortly thereafter
which resulted in playing in off-Broadway productions. He was invited
to join a band at this early age but had to turn down the offer for his
parents wanted him to graduate first. Bobby attended the Berklee College
of Music in Boston. He returned to New York
at the end of the seventies era where he started to work on the
Cleansweep album which was released in 1981 and worked with great
names like Dave Grusin and Tom Browne. A follow-up album was issued
several years later entitled Livin' for the beat which featured the amazing
Beat freak track. |
