Gavin Christopher is a singer, musician and songwriter hailing from Chicago, Illinois. He worked amongst others with Rufus and Chaka Khan during the 70's. His first musical outings as a solo recording artist date as far back as 1976 with a follow-up album which was released in 1979 and produced by Philadelphian Bobby Eli. The One step closer-album followed in in 1986 which featured the amazing Back in your arms. Two years after that the self- titled album Gavin was released. A lot of artists over the years have benefited either from Gavin's songwriting or singing skills including Tyzik, The Ritchie Family, Cuba Gooding, Jeff Lorber and Herbie Hancock.
