Reggie and Vincent Calloway were born into a musical family. In High School Reggie started writing his first compositions. Reggie's first High School Bands were the Motown Masters and The Mad Dog Fire Department. In college he formed his next jazz fusion group Sunchild. Back at Kentucky State University he decided to put together Midnight Star. Based in Los Angeles during the 80's, the Calloway brothers left the group and became successful producers for Levert, Natalie Cole, and Gladys Knight And The Pips. After the original story of the band splitting up in 1990 it took them over a decade to proof otherwise. With the release of the brilliant 15th Avenue album in 2002 Midnight Star proves to stand the test of time.
