Originally formed way back in 1971, the group consisted by 1982 of Donald Johnson, Janice Marie Johnson, Perry Kibble and Hazel Payne. Although Ladies of the eighties wasn't their biggest commercial success, amongst danceclassic lovers around the world the album is to be considered a worthwile collectors item. Latest information on the band members would be that Janice Marie Johnson released a solo EP called Hiatus of the heart for her own Tastebuds label in 2000, Hazel Payne tours Japan with her own top 40 band and that Percy Kibble passed away in 1999.
